St Hilda’s Dance School
Alana Teale has trained extensively in the fundamentals of classical ballet, jazz and contemporary from the age of eight.
In 2019, Alana completed the Queensland Ballet Petit Pointers Teacher training program which makes her a registered Queensland Ballet Education Ambassador and head of dance training at our St Hilda’s School location.
In 2015 Alana performed in America at the Star Power Nationals Dance Competition before returning to Australia to study a Bachelor of Dance and a Bachelor of Physical Education in Sydney.
Whilst completing her studies, Alana was the head dance teacher at Bluebird Ballet in Sydney where she developed her love of dance into a love of teaching and learnt many valuable teaching and interpersonal skills whilst running the Bluebird dance program.
Since moving to the Gold Coast, Alana is an active member in the community sharing her passion for dance with disabled youth and volunteering at ‘Surfing for the Disabled’ events.
This generous spirit makes Alana a beautiful teacher who fills our studios with warmth and enthusiasm and we are so proud to have Alana part of the GC Dance team.
