Getting Started

NEW TO GC DANCE?

Welcome to our GC Dance community, here are a few things you need to know before starting.

MAIN STUDIO: It’s my first class, what do I do?

Before jumping into any of our dance classes, please contact us first. That way we can point you in the right direction and list what classes would best suit.

On your first day, please arrive 15 minutes early to arrange enrolment and uniform, which we sell at the studio. Younger students will be assigned a ‘buddy’ to help guide them through their first class.

ST HILDA’S SCHOOL STUDIO: It’s my first class, what do I do?

Before jumping into a dance class at St Hilda’s School dance cabin, you must first contact us. Once the initial contact has been made you will come say ‘Hi!’ at our main studio to complete enrolment and pick up your uniform, which we sell at the studio.

AS A PARENT: What do I do whilst my child is dancing?

Both locations have windows into the studio. We ask that you refrain from starring, tapping and waving as it’s very distracting for the students.

We know you love your little one. We know you want to be there for every moment – we totally respect that. However, we also hold your child’s development and learning above all else and promise they focus better when not checking over their shoulder to see if you’re watching.

ADULT CLASSES: How do I book in?

Please visit Tutu Times for all adult ballet class information.
